About Swyft ERP
What is Swyft ERP?
Swyft ERP is a NetSuite consulting firm based in Seattle, Washington. We implement NetSuite, repair implementations that have gone wrong, build integrations, automation and reports, and support clients after go-live.
Why is Swyft ERP a boutique firm?
We stay small on purpose. The people who design your system also build it, and they stay on your project from start to finish. There is no layer of junior consultants between you and the person who designed your system, so the person answering your question already knows your account.
Who will work on my project?
Robert Bender, our owner and project architect, leads system architecture, configuration standards and quality assurance on every engagement. He has worked with NetSuite since 2013 and completed his first implementation in 2014.
Randel Natividad is a Certified Public Accountant who leads financial configuration, internal controls and client training. He was a Senior Functional Consultant in the Advanced Accounting area at Oracle NetSuite and, before that, an audit associate at Ernst & Young.
A small group of NetSuite developers and administrators handles custom development, integrations, reporting and day-to-day support. We assign them according to what the work needs, and they stay with your project instead of rotating off it. You can read more about everyone on our team page.
What certifications does your team hold?
Robert holds the NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant (2018) and NetSuite SuiteFoundation (2017) certifications. Randel has been a CPA since 2016 and holds NetSuite SuiteFoundation and NetSuite Certified Financial User, both earned in 2021. The team also works hands-on with the Celigo and Dell Boomi integration platforms. The full list is on our certifications page.
Where are you located, and do you work with companies outside Seattle?
Our office is at 1511 3rd Avenue, Suite 714, Seattle, WA 98101, and our hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific time, Monday through Friday. We work with businesses across the United States.
Do you use AI to do the work?
We use AI tools throughout delivery, mostly for data analysis, migration work, and building and testing customizations, and they make that work faster.
We make sure we understand all of the code we ship, because AI can miss details that are unique to your NetSuite account. Our consultants make the architecture decisions and the accounting calls, and they are accountable for the result.
NetSuite services
What services does Swyft ERP provide?
We implement NetSuite for companies moving onto it, including fixed-scope 90-day starter kits for manufacturers, chemical and life science manufacturers, and accounting firms. We also fix implementations that went wrong, provide ongoing managed services and hourly support, build custom reports and integrations, migrate data, back up NetSuite data, audit and secure NetSuite accounts, their integrations and office networks, set up AI workflows and connections to AI assistants, and build custom Chrome extensions for NetSuite.
Each service has its own page: 90-day implementation, ERP rescue and optimization, managed services, reporting, integrations, data backup, compliance and security and AI and agentic workflows.
How does a 90-day NetSuite implementation work?
We start with accounting and add everything else on top of it. Weeks 1 to 3 set the chart of accounts and dimensions, weeks 4 to 6 map your processes and the exceptions particular to your business, weeks 7 to 9 clean and migrate your data, and weeks 10 to 12 cover training and user acceptance testing. You go live in week 13, and we stay close through a hypercare period afterwards.
Each stage has a firm cutoff. Data that is not clean by its cutoff date does not get migrated, which is what keeps the project from stalling. The 90-day implementation page has the full plan.
Is a 90-day timeline realistic for my company?
It is if your side can keep pace with ours. You need a project lead with the authority to make decisions and time to work with us every day, someone who knows how your current data is structured, and the people who will use NetSuite available for testing and training. When implementations slip, the usual cause is waiting on answers.
Most of the implementations we have led were moves from QuickBooks. NetSuite is much stricter than QuickBooks about closed periods, required records and audit trails, and we plan the training around that change.
What is included in a NetSuite starter kit?
A starter kit is a fixed-scope 90-day implementation built from configurations we have already designed and tested. Every kit includes core NetSuite setup, the chart of accounts, item and inventory setup, migration of your master data, and training.
The Manufacturing Starter Kit adds assembly automation, work order automation and supply and demand planning. The Chemical & Life Science Starter Kit adds lot-tracked items, batch work orders, lot genealogy and automated selection across multiple lots, so material is used before it expires or falls out of spec. The Accounting Starter Kit adds role-based security for partners, associates and controllers, along with multi-entity consolidation and revenue recognition.
Automations specific to your company sit outside the kit. We scope and quote them separately once the foundation is in place, and we tell you at the start which of your requirements fall into that group.
Our NetSuite implementation went badly. Can you fix it?
Yes. We are often brought into accounts where another consultant has already worked. We begin with an assessment of the configuration, the transaction history and how your business operates, and you get a written account of what we found and what the repair involves before you commit to it.
From there we stabilize anything that is producing bad numbers, correct the setup underneath, clean up the historical records built on it, and hand the system back with documentation and training. The ERP rescue and optimization page explains the approach in more detail.
How can I tell if my NetSuite implementation needs a second opinion?
Watch for a month-end close that takes longer than it did before NetSuite, spreadsheets kept alongside the system because people do not trust it, and reports that do not reconcile with each other. Other warning signs are inventory or costing numbers corrected by journal entry, a go-live date that keeps moving, and customizations that break whenever NetSuite releases an update. If three or more of these apply, the implementation will not correct itself.
Do you provide NetSuite support after go-live?
Our managed services subscription includes a quarterly health check of your configuration, roles and data, a review of each of NetSuite’s twice-yearly releases against your customizations, and a set number of customization hours every month. If you only need help now and then, we also work by the hour.
We already pay for Oracle Advanced Customer Support. Do we still need you?
You can use both. We can direct your ACS team by turning business needs into technical requirements they can carry out, take on the process consulting and complex customization work that ACS does not cover, and hold Oracle to the service levels you pay for.
Can you build custom NetSuite reports and dashboards?
We build saved searches, financial and operational reports, and dashboards for how your business runs. Clients can also use our pre-built reports for inventory aging, item history, costed bills of materials and standard cost as of any date. See NetSuite reporting.
Which systems can you integrate with NetSuite?
We have connected NetSuite to Shopify, Salesforce, third-party logistics providers, the EDI systems that large trading partners use for orders, ship notices and invoices, and custom APIs that move data in both directions. We also built a custom integration between NetSuite and a third-party system for an aerospace manufacturer. Depending on the job we use Celigo, Dell Boomi, SuiteScript or native NetSuite connectors. See integrations.
Will you migrate our data, or do we have to?
We migrate it. You help us understand what your current data means, and we map, load, validate and reconcile it to your previous system. Data loaded incorrectly is one of the most common reasons an implementation never recovers, so we treat it as our job.
Do you train our staff?
Training is part of every implementation. We train department heads on why NetSuite enforces the rules it does, so they can lead their teams through the change, and we train each role on the work it does in the system. Randel Natividad runs client training and kickoff sessions.
Can you back up our NetSuite data?
Our NetSuite Data Backup service runs nightly backups of your production account and any number of sandbox accounts to secure cloud storage. You can view the backed-up data in a browser without an ODBC or JDBC connector, and the service covers disaster recovery and importing data back. Contact us for pricing.
Can you audit and secure our NetSuite account?
Our compliance and security work covers NetSuite roles and permissions, two-factor authentication, segregation of duties, integrations and their access tokens, and the office network your team signs in from. You get a written report ranked by risk, and we make the fixes you approve. For healthcare companies, we also keep PHI in the EHR and out of NetSuite to support HIPAA compliance. See Compliance & Security.
What are your NetSuite Chrome extensions?
We publish a free Chrome extension, the NetSuite Transaction Visualizer, and we build custom Chrome extensions that work with NetSuite to automate repetitive manual steps. Clients get access to our full catalogue. See Chrome extensions.
AI and NetSuite
What can AI agents do in NetSuite?
Agents handle research and preparation. One can match an invoice to its purchase order and prepare a draft bill, compare periods before the month-end close and collect the records behind an unusual change, answer a reporting question with the source transactions attached, or suggest customer and vendor records that may be duplicates. A person reviews the result and approves anything important. See NetSuite AI and agentic workflows.
Will an AI agent post transactions without approval?
Only if you have explicitly agreed that a specific action falls within its permissions and approval policy. A sensible first workflow is read-only research or transaction preparation, with a person approving important changes.
How do you keep AI workflows under control?
Each agent gets named access to the records and tools its workflow needs, and read-only access first where that is practical. Important actions wait for an authorized person. We log what was requested, which tools ran, who approved and what changed, and we enforce permissions and validation outside the AI model. Uncertain matches and failed actions go to a person.
Can you connect NetSuite to ChatGPT or Claude?
We set up a NetSuite MCP server that connects your account to Claude, ChatGPT or a locally hosted model. First we agree with you on what the AI can see, whether it can create or update records, whether you want it for reporting or for completing work, and the risks of sharing NetSuite data with an AI company. See NetSuite AI MCP.
Do we need clean data before using AI?
No, although the quality of your data affects the quality of the results. A read-only investigation can help find gaps, and we check AI suggestions against source records before anyone changes data.
Industries we work with
Which industries do you work with?
We focus on manufacturers, chemical and life science manufacturers, distributors and accounting firms. Our work includes an LED manufacturer, a Seattle glassblowing company, an aerospace manufacturer, a wholesale chemical distributor, a cattle feeding agribusiness in the Pacific Northwest and a payment recovery firm. Food distributors can work with us through our partnership with Pepper.
Do you work with accounting firms?
Yes, in two ways. The Accounting Starter Kit moves your own practice onto NetSuite in 90 days. For firms whose clients run NetSuite, we work behind your firm on setup, data migration, automation, custom reports and training. You keep the client relationship, and we price referred client work at a discount because we expect to work together over time.
Do you work with ERP systems other than NetSuite?
NetSuite is our main platform, and we also consult on Odoo, Acumatica and ERPNext. That helps if you are still choosing a system and want advice from someone with no stake in which one you buy, or if you run one of those systems and need help with it. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
Pricing and getting started
How much does working with Swyft ERP cost?
We quote each engagement after a scoping conversation, and you get the figure in writing before any work starts. We quote starter kits at a fixed price. You can get support by the hour or through discounted monthly packages, and accounting firms that bring us client work get discounted rates.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. Monthly support is flexible, there is no long-term lock-in, and we agree the terms with you up front.
How do I get started?
Start with a free initial consultation. Book a time on our calendar, email [email protected] or send a message from the contact page. Tell us what is going on and we will tell you whether it looks like a configuration problem, a data problem or a project problem, which is useful to know even if you do not hire us.
Do you have examples of your work?
Our case studies cover a full NetSuite implementation with custom interest-based billing for a cattle feeding agribusiness, finished in four and a half months; an automated invoicing module for a payment recovery firm that processes hundreds of thousands of payment records each cycle; and ongoing support for a wholesale chemical distributor. When a client is under a non-disclosure agreement, we describe the work without naming the company.
